I was an altar boy in the temple for a long time. During this time, my grandmother’s dream was that I would light incense during the service. These feelings also shaped my desires, because I just wanted to make my beloved grandmother happy. Thinking back to when I had that chance, I still have mystical emotions. I felt like the protagonist of the room in which the most important spectator was grandmother, sitting in the front row. I wanted to fulfill this role in the best possible way, but my hands trembling with excitement made it difficult for me to accomplish the task of my dreams. When I managed to light the incense after several attempts, I felt a purifying rapture. I walked with the censer to the altar, pride filling my heart. I will never forget my grandmother’s emotional gaze.
