This creation borrows from mythology, where Iris, messenger of the gods, was cherished by Hera (Zeus'consort) for bringing her only good news. She personifies the rainbow otherwise called "Iris Fauve" by the poets.
Iris Fauve drapes the skin like a soft and reassuring veil; a sensual, spicy, faceted composition, sometimes suave and powdery, sometimes more assertive, animalic.
