FERN
Fern fragrances are an olfactory family characterized by an accord of aromatic, lavender, woody and mossy notes. They take their name from the first fragrance of this type, Fougère Royale, created in 1882 by Paul Parquet for the Houbigant house. This innovative fragrance used coumarin, a synthetic molecule that reproduces the scent of the fern, a plant that has no flowers or fragrance of its own.
