CHYPRÉ
Chypre fragrances are characterized by an earthy, woody base, often enhanced by citrus, floral or oriental notes. The name of this olfactory family comes from the perfume Chypre, created in 1909 by François Coty, which combined oakmoss, patchouli and musk with bergamot, jasmine and rose. These ingredients have become the key elements of chypre perfumes, which can be declined in different facets depending on the composition.
