Jean-Claude Ellena says that it is the little Rosa Centifolia or May Rose that colors his memories of Grasse at the beginning of the summer, when he accompanied his grandmother during the picking.

A fragrance in homage to the elegant rose of Grasse

Pale pink in color, with a tender complexion and a sweet and delicate fragrance, the rose can be light, sublime, fresh and seductive in turn. But it is when combined with Musk or Patchouli that it displays all its sensuality. "To its provocative appeal," explains Jean-Claude, "I responded with languid and voluptuous notes. And among more than fifty species of roses I chose the Rose de Mai because it is the most cultivated flower in Grasse, but above all because its fragrance is the most luminous, the most solar."
