Our journey back to the sources - the sunny Italy of the Phoenicians, Greeks, Arabs and Normans - begins with Bergamot because this citrus fruit, halfway between lemon and bitter orange.

Bergamot, our inspiration for this fragrance

Bergamot is the princess of perfumery, present in most of today's successful formulas.

And yet, a princess who, due to her volatility, had never had all the honors she deserves. This is why we looked into its extraction and its ancient gestures. A cut with a curved knife that eliminates the pulp and leaves only the peel, also known as "Bergamotto Spugna" (sponge bergamot). A circular pressing on a natural sponge, to collect the essence. The fruity base with delicate floral notes of Jasmine of our Eau de Parfum Bergamotto di Calabria thus germinated from a return to the past.

Its stimulating, resolutely contemporary freshness comes from a few exotic touches and extensive work on bergamot, which has become persistent and energetic.

This sunny fragrance evokes the sweetness of Italian life from the very first notes. At the top, Bergamot is combined with Pink Pepper, Paraguayan Petitgrain and Timur Pepper. For the heart notes, we have chosen Orange Blossom Water, Jasmine Absolute, Moroccan Neroli and Orange Blossom Absolute. Then come the woody touches of Iris, Cedarwood, Haitian Vetiver and Musk in the base. Modern and complex, this precious Italian citrus fruit reveals a sublime and wonderful fragrance, to be discovered drop by drop.
