Description

Inspired by a red pigment used by Murano glass masters and designed in homage to the splendor of the San Francesco della Vigna church in Venice, Rosso I embodies a mystical sensuality. Evoking forbidden encounters of a bygone era beneath the arcades of this majestic Venetian building, this fragrance is intensely aromatic. The bottle pays homage to Venetian craftsmanship, adorned with a blown Murano glass mask, designed by Didier Guillon and crafted by master glassmaker Leonardo Cimolin, with a leather-covered stopper. Top notes of spicy and fresh pink pepper open to a deep heart of Damascus rose, while oud, one of the noblest ingredients used in perfumery, adds a powerful woody and animalic note, forming a bold and full-bodied bouquet.
