When Jean-Claude Ellena recalls his childhood, he sees himself with a jasmine flower between his thumb and forefinger. This porcelain-transparent flower announced the beginnings of his vocation. When picking, each hour of the day was accompanied by a variation of this tender natural perfume that dominated everywhere. "Nature," Jean-Claude Ellena says today, "taught me that perfume is composed and decomposed by varying its effects. But it remains unique and eternal."
