The adventure of Modern Perfumery began with Disarming. It was inspired by a palace in Le Touquet in the North of France.

Description

Disarmingresurrects the perfume of a mysterious bottle found in a palace with neo-baroque splendor. This unlabeled perfume smelled of Lilac. Where did it come from? Coty, Houbigant, ...? More than 200 perfumes with Lilac were referenced at the time of La Parfumerie Moderne, most of which have now disappeared.

Philippe Neirinck decided to prolong the magic of this discovery by creating La Parfumerie Moderne.

Lilac is a beloved flower that evokes spring.

Under mossy wood, exuberant purple clusters, vanilla nectar, and then that heady, almost leathery animal sigh exhaled by flowers at the height of their bloom.
